Praxis serves as a place for students to contribute their ideas, stories, and meaningful conversations about issues that shape our communities. We believe that every student has something valuable to say, regardless of their major, background, or level of experience.

Too often, students have thoughtful perspectives but no accessible platform to publish their work. Praxis exists to change that. Through student written opinion pieces and podcasts, we aim to amplify those voices that deserve to be heard.

Annabelle Hedrick is a Criminology and Political Science double major.
Meet the Founders
Praxis was founded by three undergraduate students at the University of California, Irvine who share a passion for civic engagement, education, and creating opportunities for students to participate in public conversations.
Although we come from different academic backgrounds, we are all part of UCI's School of Social Ecology. Our experiences have shown us the value of diverse perspectives, and that belief is at the heart of Praxis.
